Azienda Agricola Ciucci

Via Penna in Teverina, Locality Colle delle Monache, 01028 Orte (VT) mobile-textmobiletext

On the border between Lazio and Umbria, between the picturesque Tiber Valley and the Amerini Mountains, Azienda Agricola Ciucci is an agricultural paradise that has been cared for with passion by the same family for more than a hundred years. This organic estate grows and produces high quality wine and extra virgin olive oil, following the rhythms of nature and using only sustainable methods.

The grapes, hand-picked, are largely indigenous. The winery offers seven labels: among the whites, the Malvasia, soft and floral, and the Vermentino Donna Walda, fresh and enveloping, stand out. The rosé Oltre is a fruity and pleasant Sangiovese. The reds tell of the richness of the terroir: Sangiovese, Misciano, Violone and Violò-the latter two obtained from violone, an indigenous grape also known as the Montepulciano of Tuscia.

Completing the production is Cimacolle extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed in the farm mill, and made from local varieties such as Leccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio and Pendolino.

In addition to the on-site point of sale, the winery organizes customizable guided tours by reservation, with wine tastings accompanied by food pairings. An authentic and relaxed experience, overlooking the vineyards and hills that embrace the estate. An easy way to get in touch with an agricultural history that tells more than a century of Tuscia.
