L'Opificio is a bistro that combines a passion for taste with the warm welcome of a living room at home. Eleonora, the soul of the kitchen, and Federico, the attentive host in the dining room, create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere where guests feel pampered.
Located on the town's main street before the Porta Romana, the ambiance captivates with its vintage decor, soft lighting and thoughtful details that invite an immediate sense of ease. This special atmosphere is also present in the delightful sheltered dehors, which offers moments of cheerful tranquility as you watch the world go by.
The philosophy of km 0 and the seasonality of products are the main beams of this restaurant. The menu offers a selection of dishes that are simple but rich in flavor, where quality raw materials and the link with the territory of Tuscia are protagonists. From Acquacotta alla Viterbese to hearty platters of cured meats (certified gluten- and lactose-free), organic cheeses and local products, to meat specialties. There is no shortage of a touch of Liguria, with flavors that recall Frederick's origins.
The wine selection is also extensive, with labels from Tuscia and carefully selected productions. L'Opificio is also a wine shop: here you can buy bottles for takeaway and continue the experience at home. A fine selection of cocktails, craft bitters, rum, whiskey and gin to pair with special tonics completes the offer.
Homemade cakes, organic teas and infusions are a sweet conclusion. Eleonora, with her Torte-à-Porter project, makes custom cakes to celebrate special occasions, to be enjoyed on the spot or to take away. Attention to detail is also found in the coffee, always accompanied by delicious homemade cookies and meringues.
